제 사진 포트폴리오는 '정체성'이라는 이름을 가지고 있다. 저의 작품은 도시의 풍경들을 미니멀한 스타일로 재해석하여 표현한다. 흑백 사진도 있지만, 주로 색을 적극 활용하여 강렬한 표현을 시도하였으며, 사진 프레임을 적극적으로 활용하여 시선을 조절하고 있다.
이런 방식의 표현은 관람자에게 강한 호기심을 발한다. 사진 속의 피사체는 무엇인지, 그것의 정체성은 무엇인지에 대한 의문을 제기하게 만든다. 그리고 이런 의문을 통해 관람자 스스로 그 해답을 찾아가게 만드는 것이 제 작품의 주요한 기대 효과이다.
이러한 접근법은 사진을 보는 이들에게 단순히 이미지를 소비하는 것 이상의 경험을 제공하게 하며, 그들 스스로가 사진 속의 풍경, 물체, 사람들의 정체성을 탐색하고 이해하게 하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 이는 그들이 각자의 시각과 해석을 통해 사진 속의 이야기를 완성하게 하는 방식으로, 보다 풍부하고 깊이 있는 경험을 제공한다.
My portfolio, titled 'Identity,' interprets urban landscapes in a minimalistic style. While it includes black-and-white images, the collection primarily employs bold uses of color and strategic framing.
This method of representation sparks curiosity in the viewer. It poses questions about the identity of the subjects within the photograph. The main anticipated effect of my work is to incite viewers to search for answers themselves.
This approach provides viewers with an experience beyond mere image consumption, focusing on them exploring and understanding the identities of landscapes, objects, and people within the photos. It encourages them to complete the narrative of the images through their own perspectives and interpretations, offering a richer, more profound experience.
